Parminder Singh Brar is General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Punjab and President of BJP Punjab Yuva Morcha, positions he has held since September 2023. A trained lawyer and sports administrator, Brar brings a multifaceted background to his political leadership.

Education: LL.B and MBA from Panjab University, Chandigarh; Enrolled Solicitor with the Law Society of England and Wales; Diploma in Human Rights from Washington College of Law, American University (2009)

His political career has spanned multiple parties and roles. In 2016-17, he served as Officer on Special Duty to Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal, gaining direct experience in state-level governance. In 2018, he led the Student Organisation of India as its National President. After moving through the Indian National Congress briefly in 2021, he joined the BJP in December that year. Within a year of joining, he was appointed State Secretary (December 2022), and by September 2023, he assumed his current role as General Secretary.
